Chikatai is a crane who believes that everything fantastic starts with a great music and that is why the first track in our life matters. All our toys are handmade in Georgia with GOTS Certified 100% organic cotton fabrics and most of them play wonderful melodies by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli. Chikatai is a family business started from home but shortly found its success and moved in a small workshop in the city center. Sustainability is the core component of our brand philosophy – We make friends, care and preserve nature and its inhabitants and this is the driving force of Chikatai. In textile business, it is impossible to produce products with zero waste. Little details of our toys give us the possibility to use most of the fabrics but it is not enough for us so we collect our final leftovers and send them in textile recycling company where they find a new life. One more thing that we try to be very careful with is overproduction. This is why we produce our products mostly upon request with pre-orders and not overload our stocks. Since 2020 Chikatai is proud to be the member of UN Global Compact Network. To tell our long story short, we made it! Since 2017 Chikatai is living its colorful life with the best soundtrack and tries to befriend with everyone who shares the same values as we believe that – First track in our life matters!
