Ila y Ela is a small independen brand based in Madrid.With the aim of giving shape to her creativity and passion for handicrafs ,our company was founded 5 years ago as the personal project of Natalia Breton. Two years later Estrella Dueñas came on board.Together we share a devotion for the recovery of handmade procedures and natural materials, and we ensamble our inspiration and complementary aesthetic attitudes in order to create unique pieces.Far from last minute tendencies, we deeply care for slow fashion and long term significance. We treasure traditional materials and fabrics that keep the essence of our Medierranean culture. Pure linen, soft cottons and ancient upholstery textiles are part of our favorites, along with natural fibers like raffia or esparto grass. Neutral palettes, earth colors and simple, cleans designs are part of our identity. We produce local, and ourproduction is eco-friendly, cost-effective, almost fully handmade.
