We are a knitwear brand that is passionate about creating special garments of exceptional quality that are functional as well as beautiful. Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle and our understanding of environmental concerns, we have made it our mission to create a product we love while infusing sustainability into every decision we take. Our story began in the countryside of our home island of Mallorca during the 2020 lockdown with nowhere to go and lots of free time to knit and dye the vision for our unique garments came to life. We have since then made it our goal to create every piece with artisanal detail, as well as love and respect for the processes involved, from animal husbandry to knitting and hand-dyeing.Made with love combining technology with tradition we craft modern and creative pieces of knitwear with practicality in mind. Thoughtfully sourcing the finest natural fibres and carefully designing garments to be soft, comfortable and stylish. Our designs are easily dressed up or down, layered, and interchanged amongst boys and girls. Many of the pieces are also made in adult sizes, so matching outfits are possible for the whole family. Our process involves hand-dyeing, either the yarn before the garment is knitted; or tie-dyeing after the garment has been knitted. As a result of this hand-made quality, slight variations are to be expected. When purchasing a MoonLoom garment you are embracing the uniqueness and natural variations from one piece to another.
